Представлен обзор данных зарубежной и отечественной литературы по биологии, факторам вирулентности энтерококков – ведущих возбудителей нозокомиальных инфекций. Приводятся сведения о факторах риска и послеоперационных инфекционных осложнениях, возбудителями которых являются энтерококки, в хирургических клиниках и клиниках по трансплантации органов.
