<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The shortage of donor organs results in the search for alternative ways to increase the donor pool. One of these is the expansion of marginal donor criteria. The use of liver grafts from donors in this group is associated with a high risk of primary non-functioning graft which lies at the basis of ischemia-reperfusion injury of the liver. In this regard, in this review, we examined the main stages of the pathogenesis of liver disturbances as well as modern methods of prevention and treatment. </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>ишемически-реперфузионное повреждение</kwd><kwd>доноры с расширенными критериями</kwd><kwd>ранняя дисфункция трансплантата</kwd><kwd>трансплантация печени.</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ischemic-reperfusion injury</kwd><kwd>extended criteria donors</kwd><kwd>liver transplantation.</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">US Department of Health and Human Services.
