В мире накоплен большой практический опыт ведения потенциального донора, но нет единого мнения о многих принципиальных моментах. В статье представлен обзор современных представлений о патофизиологии смерти мозга, клинических ее проявлениях и основных принципах ведения донора. Анестезиолог-реаниматолог является ключевой фигурой в подготовке донора к эксплантации, и если ка- чество этого процесса улучшится, увеличится количество донорских органов и выживание реципиентов. </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Successful donor’s programs have to base on the fundamental knowledge about brain death and principles of do- nor intensive care.
