Ведение потенциального донора со смертью мозга – один из важнейших моментов в органном донор- стве. В мире накоплен большой практический опыт ведения потенциального донора, но нет единого мнения о многих принципиальных моментах. В статье представлен обзор современных представлений о патофизиологии смерти мозга, клинических ее проявлениях и основных принципах ведения донора. Анестезиолог-реаниматолог является ключевой фигурой в подготовке донора к эксплантации, и если ка- чество этого процесса улучшится, увеличится количество донорских органов и выживание реципиентов. 

Successful donor’s programs have to base on the fundamental knowledge about brain death and principles of do- nor intensive care. In this article there is presented a comprehensive review of modern literature which highlights the main issues in donor care management.
