Целью данного обзора литературы является анализ проведенных мировых исследований по изучению хирургических методов коррекции морбидного ожирения и возможности их использования у больных с терминальной стадией хронической болезни почек при подготовке к трансплантации почки.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Obesity is a modern «epidemic» not only in the general population but also among patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who require kidney transplantation (KTx).
